Coronado came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Point Loma Pointers 3-0. The Islanders not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
While Coronado won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-19.
Ashlynn Proctor paced Coronado's offense, picking up 11 kills. Proctor got some help from Brooke Proctor and her 17 assists. Finally, Madison Davis kept Coronado's defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.
