Horizon Christian strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Tindley Tigers as they made off with a 15-2 victory. While Horizon Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Victoria Kiger made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched. Kiger was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Cayden Marshall was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. Cambria Hathaway was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
