St. John's Saints and Virginia Lions played the most hotly contested game in Freelance this week, with St. John's Saints eventually emerging with a 16-12 victory.
Hampton Roads Generals led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Alliance Christian. Jesse Mallory threw for 30 yards and one touchdown and ran for 80 yards in the win.
Victory Christian Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Seay has thrown for 382 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Timmy Stephens has eight catches for 229 yards. Michael Norfleet leads the league in rushing with 209 yards.
A big matchup in Freelance this week will be when Rappahannock County takes on the Saints. Rappahannock County is in eighth place, while St. John's Saints is in first place.
