Grace Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Covenant Academy Rams, falling 58-38. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Covenant Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Mills, who threw for 227 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 49 yards and one score. Mills' passing game has become a key predictor of the Rams' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise. Another back making a difference was Grant Reidl, who rushed for 68 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

This is the second loss in a row for Grace Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Covenant Academy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
