In other batting news, Elin Shaw was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Emma Walker, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.
Clay kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Western only managed three hits.

Coming up, Clay will head out to square off against Alexander at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.31 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
