Softball Recap: Community Charter Has No Trouble Against Discovery

After only one run in their last contest, Community Charter made sure to put some runs up on the board against Discovery on Thursday. The Titans put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 24-11 win. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Community Charter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.3 runs. As for Discovery, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Community Charter will head out to square off against Sun Valley Magnet at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Discovery, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 25-20 loss against Lakeview Charter on the 2nd.
