After soaring to 59 points the game before, the Swan Valley Vikings were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by Frankenmuth on the road and fell 67-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Swan Valley has scored all season.
Frankenmuth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Knoll led the charge by scoring 17 points along with two steals. Knoll hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Ethan Edwards, who scored 15 points.
Swan Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Frankenmuth, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swan Valley will take on the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Bridgeport and four for the Vikings. As for Frankenmuth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
