Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Irvington). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Hill Falcons 85-21. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Falcons are ranked 981st).

Irvington pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Hill, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Irvington will take on Willow Glen at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Harker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
