On Friday, Nelson County was out to avenge their 13-37 loss to Thomas Nelson from the last time they squared off against one another, but the team left empty-handed. Nelson County ended up on the wrong side of a painful 12-41 walloping at Thomas Nelson hands. This game was a close 12-14 at the break, but unfortunately for Nelson County it sure didn't stay that way. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Nelson County off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Thomas Nelson a 2-0 record.
Next week, Nelson County take on Fairdale at 7:30 PM. As for Thomas Nelson, they will face of against Larue County.
