A Season-Best Performance from Alarion Russell Leads Bryan over Benson
Bryan was led to victory by Alarion Russell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Russell rushed for 177 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Bryan moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. Russell and Bryan will challenge Lincoln East at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Isaiah Morgan Has Career-Day on Friday
On Friday, Bryan got the W thanks in part to Isaiah Morgan playing the best football he has all season. Morgan rushed for 240 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Unfortunately for Benson, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Morgan. Morgan rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries the last time he and the Bunnies duked it out back in September of 2023.

Zaire Lagrone Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Kearney got the W thanks in part to Zaire Lagrone playing the best football he has all season. Lagrone picked up 77 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 77 yards.
The victory (which was Kearney's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Lagrone and Kearney will welcome Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lincoln East found a leader in Kyle Campbell as the squad took down Columbus on Thursday. Campbell was dynamite, rushing for 38 yards and two touchdowns.
Lincoln East now has a winning record of 4-3. Campbell and Lincoln East will face off against Bryan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
