Meanwhile, San Jacinto Valley Academy pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 72-55 fall against Santa Rosa Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for San Jacinto Valley Academy in their matchups with Santa Rosa Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.
Reon Terakubo put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. James Henderson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Nuview Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
