Trinidad put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 53-39 victory over the Centennial Rams. The Miners have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.
Trinidad was led to victory by Cole Gegelman and Jeremiah Romero. Gegelman went 7-for-11 on his way to 22 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Romero shot 45% from the field to rack up 14 points in addition to seven steals and six boards. Those 22 points gave Gegelman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jace Robinson, who posted five points.
Trinidad's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
