Jesuit will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Granite Bay at Hanson-McClain Stadium at 5:15 PM. If the 6-7 final from the last time they met is any indication, this game will be decided by the defense.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-50, which was the final score in Jesuit's tilt against Folsom last Friday. Jesuit were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Meanwhile, Granite Bay were fully in charge last week, breezing past Damonte Ranch 59-19.
Granite Bay's win lifted them to 3-0 while Jesuit's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Granite Bay can add another positive mark to their record or if Jesuit can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Granite Bay's step.
