The Cloverleaf Colts pushed their score all the way to 68 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 81-68 to Springfield. It was another big night for Anthony Ahern, who scored 27 points for Springfield. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Siegferth, who scored 18 points.
Cloverleaf's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Springfield, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.
Cloverleaf will stay at home for another game and welcome Ravenna at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Springfield will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against East Canton at 1:00 p.m. on January 14th. One thing working in East Canton's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
