Legacy Charter's loss came despite strong showings from Ashlyn Kraus and Mallory Daniels. Kraus scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Daniels scored 12 points along with three steals. That was a full 54.5% of Legacy Charter's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Legacy Charter struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Leading First Academy to victory were Ashlyn Neiford and Molly Beliveau. Neiford scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Beliveau scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Beliveau has scored all season.
Legacy Charter has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for First Academy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
