Coal City entered their tilt with Peotone on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over the Blue Devils. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Coalers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 300th).

Coal City's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Peotone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.
