The Campolindo Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Berean Christian Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Campolindo will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
While Campolindo's win against Mt. Diablo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Red Devils 7-6 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Paige Williams was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over 6.2 innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Tallarico, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Lucy Wilson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Campolindo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Berean Christian made easy work of Las Lomas on Tuesday and carried off a 10-3 win. Considering the Eagles have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Berean Christian let Hanna Lavino and Leila Rhoads run wild. Lavino went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double, while Rhoads got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs. Emma De Carlo was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Berean Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Campolindo, their record is now 7-13.
Campolindo suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Berean Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
