Football Recap: Clifton Skates Past Blooming Grove with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, Clifton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Blooming Grove Lions 35-6. The Cubs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jackson Ritz produced another solid performance rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 60 yards and one TD. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made 12 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Clifton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 291 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

As for Blooming Grove, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
