The Cross Plains Buffaloes can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Moran 57-29 on the road. Cross Plains' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.
Moran lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kielar Carr, who scored 12 points. Carr scored a full 41.4% of Moran's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Leanna Sikes, who scored nine points.
Cross Plains' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-13. As for Moran, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-17.
Cross Plains will take on Eula at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Eula is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Moran, they will head out on the road to face off against Rising Star at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rising Star is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
