Sebring is 8-1 against Clewiston since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blue Streaks will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Sebring is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
If Sebring beats Clewiston with six runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Blue Streaks came out on top in a nail-biter against Central on Monday, sneaking past 6-5.

Ricky Perez was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Arnan, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Clewiston, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Cypress Lake on Monday by a score of 5-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
Ethan Casas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cayson Holman, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Ruben Zamora was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
Sebring's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Clewiston, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Sebring has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Clewiston struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Sebring came out on top in a nail-biter against Clewiston when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Blue Streaks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
