Salem is on a four-game streak of home losses, New Albany a 14-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Salem Lions will be home for the holidays to greet the New Albany Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. New Albany took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Salem, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Salem was able to grind out a solid victory over North Harrison, taking the game 32-24. That 32-24 margin sets a new team best for Salem this season.
Meanwhile, New Albany suffered a tough 70-44 defeat at the hands of Providence on Thursday.
Salem's victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9. As for New Albany, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
