Harvest Christian Academy came tearing into last Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Westminster Christian on the road to the tune of 69-32. With Harvest Christian Academy ahead 42-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Harvest Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Meeker, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The match was Meeker's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of JJ Gonnam, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, West Chicago scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Elgin 68-52. The victory was a breath of fresh air for West Chicago as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
