Design Tech is 5-0 against Pescadero since April of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Design Tech Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pescadero Vikings at 3:30 p.m. Design Tech will be strutting in after a win while Pescadero will be coming in after a loss.
Design Tech had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They really took it to San Francisco Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-15 win at home. Design Tech's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Design Tech's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Skyler Stewart, who scored 11 points, and Eddy Yee, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stewart has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bassam (Sam) Karadshe, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Pescadero's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 93-39 loss at the hands of Summit Shasta. Pescadero was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-22.
Design Tech's win bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Pescadero, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Design Tech against Pescadero when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 60-18 victory. Does Design Tech have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pescadero turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
