The Falkner Eagles lost against the East Union Urchins back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Falkner took a 69-53 bruising from East Union.
When it comes to explaining why Falkner lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chris Nunley. Despite the final result, he scored 27 points. Nunley is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Gavin Wooley, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Falkner has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for East Union, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.
Falkner will square off against Jumpertown at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Falkner focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. East Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
