Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hardee). They breezed by the Candlelight Christian Academy Flames to the tune of 58-8 on Friday. The Wildcats pushed the score to 46-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Flames had no chance of recovering from.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Candlelight Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Hardee and Avon Park will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Candlelight Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on January 30, 2025.
