It was a good run, but Fayetteville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Sylacauga Aggies by a score of 7-5. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-11 defeat back in March.

Fayetteville's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Sylacauga, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-17 record.

Fayetteville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Reeltown on the 14th. As for Sylacauga, they have also already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Leeds on the 15th.
