ThunderRidge added to the longest winning streak in 5A Continental this week by beating Bear Creek, 41-13. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Grizzlies.
ThunderRidge took down the Bears 41-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brody Westmoreland threw for 193 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 93 yards in the win.
Joe Johnson's team's dynamic duo of Westmoreland and Mark Hopper proved tough for Bear Creek to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Tristan Powers helped ThunderRidge's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 34 yards.

Hopper was the best receiver in the league this week as ThunderRidge bested the Bears. Hopper tallied 6 receptions for 137 yards.
Trey Smith was the best running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 136 yards as Douglas County topped Bear Creek. Ketron Tyler also contributed to the rushing game with 49 yards on the ground.
Westmoreland put up the best numbers through the air as ThunderRidge beat the Bears.
The Grizzlies' Westmoreland and Hopper have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 5A Continental in both passing and receiving yards. Westmoreland has thrown for 682 yards this season, while Hopper, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 21 catches for 435 yards. Smith from the Huskies leads the league in rushing with 577 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Regis Jesuit and ThunderRidge. The Raiders enters the game ranked 14th in the state, while the Grizzlies ranks second.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when ThunderRidge's Hopper goes up against Regis Jesuit's Jj Kilgore.
Next week's game between the Grizzlies and Mark Nolan's team will feature a good passing match up as Westmoreland will test his arm against Kilgore's defensive ability.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Raiders take on ThunderRidge. Regis Jesuit has allowed 57 points this season, while the Grizzlies have given up 45. The Raiders allowed 31 points last week as they lost to Cherokee Trail.
