Basketball Recap: Lydia Mcgown Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

There's no place like home for Brady, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Arthur County Wolves on Friday as the Brady Eagles made off with a 52-27 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Brady got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lydia Mcgown out in front who posted 20 points and four steals. Those 20 points gave Mcgown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenlee Fattig, who had 11 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

Brady's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Arthur County, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Brady wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-39 victory against South Loup on the 18th. As for Arthur County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Garden County at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th.
