Meanwhile, Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Valley, falling 22-14.
Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for DuPont Manual, their record now sits at 17-11.
DuPont Manual skirted past Shawnee 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crimsons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
