The Hillside Hornets waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with six straight wins  but they left with seven. They took their  match at home  with ease, bagging a  64-28 win over East Chapel Hill. Hillside has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  matchups by 21  points or more this season.
 Hillside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Samiyah Barker, who  scored 14 points along with five  steals. Barker is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Kynnedy Roberts, who  scored eight points along with four  steals.
 Hillside is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for East Chapel Hill, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Hillside will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Chapel Hill at 5:30  p.m. Chapel Hill is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.6  points per game. As for East Chapel Hill, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Riverside-Durham at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
