 At the plate,  KJ Scobey was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Wyatt Thomas, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Hardee entered their tilt with Estero with eight consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats  on Wednesday and snuck past  7-5.
  Kellon Lindsey was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 McKeel Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which somehow isn't as good as their 22-5 record  this season. As for Hardee, their victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-6.
