The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mullen, who took down fourth ranked Mullen, 16-14. Taven Sparks threw for 110 yards and one touchdown in the win.
Columbine extended the longest winning streak in 5A Super 6 this week by beating Chatfield, 38-15. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Bernard McDondle was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 169 yards on 13 carries as Columbine lost to Arapahoe. Michael Burns also contributed to the rushing game with 97 yards on the ground.
Healy was the best wideout in the league this week as Mullen lost to the Warriors. Healy tallied three receptions for 89 yards. Michael Moore helped Mullen's passing attack out by catching four balls for 55 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Gasper Dominici of Tom Thenell's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 906. He has also thrown five touchdowns. On the ground, Andy Lowry's team's McDondle has rushed for 1092 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kevin Butts. The Bear Creek star has 15 catches for 299 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Arapahoe and Lakewood. Mike Campbell's team comes into the matchup ranked 11th in the state, while the Tigers ranks 19th.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Rebels take on the Mustangs. Columbine's offense has recorded 188 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Mullen has permitted only 100 on the year.
