Leading Agoura to victory were Dj Jacob and Mathis Simonet. Jacob scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Simonet dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Simonet scored 15 or more points. Elai Segev was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Agoura's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Newbury Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Agoura will take on Oaks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oaks Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Newbury Park, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Calabasas at 7:00 p.m. Calabasas presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Newbury Park in California (Calabasas is ranked 152nd, while Newbury Park is ranked 483rd).
