The Glenn Bobcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Surry Central Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Glenn is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
It was a proper cat-fight when Glenn duked it out with Cornerstone Charter on Monday. Glenn came out on top against Cornerstone Charter by a score of 10-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

The team relied heavily on Logan Stump, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Josh Manley also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last match, Surry Central made sure to put some runs up on the board against Wilkes Central on Tuesday. Surry Central walked away with a 12-8 victory over Wilkes Central.
Jackson Wilmoth was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Eric Branch was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Ty Lloyd, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Surry Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Glenn's record is now 4-1. As for Surry Central, their record now sits at 5-1.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Glenn hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314.
