After a string of three wins, the Blue Ridge Christian Bears's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 51-38 to Regents. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Blue Ridge Christian has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Regents to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Keppel, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Keppel set a new season high mark in points with 13. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Morales, who scored 17 points.
Blue Ridge Christian's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Regents, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge Christian will stay at home for another game and welcome United Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th. Regents will take on Redeemer Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
