Regents had won six straight games and Jack Devine did his part to make it seven on Thursday. The Knights blew past the Grace Community Cougars 56-7 thanks in part to Devine, who threw for 225 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 48 yards and one TD. He has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last five times he's played.
Another player making a difference was Kade Millington, who picked up 80 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 55 yards.
Regents didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ashton Hopkins and Drew Novy. Regents received some extra help from Charlie Burton, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Regents' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Grace Community, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
