The timing is sure in Calvary Christian Academy's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Bedford County CIA has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Calvary Christian Academy beat Great Commission 39-33. The victory was just what Calvary Christian Academy needed coming off of a 69-38 loss in their prior contest.
Calvary Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Suttles out in front who scored 14 points along with two steals. Suttles is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Tyrell Lapp was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bedford County CIA was the victim of a tough 51-27 loss at the hands of Carlisle Christian Academy back in January.
Calvary Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Bedford County CIA, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
