Lamar is 1-0 against Hall since October of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lamar Warriors will be playing at home against the Hall Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Lamar will be strutting in after a victory while Hall will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Lamar beat Pottsville 32-20.
Lamar's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Caiden Woods, who rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and Caleb Green, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Lamar's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Leading the way was Logan Kendrick and his four sacks.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-14, which was the final score in Hall's tilt against Harmony Grove on Friday. Hall was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Lamar's victory on Friday bumped their record up to 5-2. Hall has been struggling this season, as they've lost six of their first eight contests, which leaves them at a 2-6 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Lamar against Hall when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 64-32 victory. Will Lamar repeat their success, or does Hall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
