Danny Mercado's Big Game Leads Casa Grande over Justin-Siena
Starting off the list is Casa Grande's Danny Mercado, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mercado threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Mercado must have Justin-Siena's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mercado saw the Braves), he threw for 182 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes.

American Canyon Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Mason Harris
American Canyon picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Mason Harris. Harris wasn't messing around, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 68 yards and a touchdown. The game was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
American Canyon pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Harris and American Canyon will challenge Napa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lopez Made His Presence Known in American Canyon's 41-21 Win
American Canyon picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Andre Lopez. Nobody could stop Lopez as he rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Lopez might just drop another big game when he faces off against Napa on Friday. When Lopez last faced the Grizzlies back in October of 2023, he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.

A Season-Best Performance from Ronan Curley Leads Casa Grande over Justin-Siena
Casa Grande was led to victory by Ronan Curley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Curley rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 48 receiving yards.
On the season, Curley has averaged 20.7 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 47.57 rushing yards.
