Ivan Higuera Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Douglas got the W thanks in part to Ivan Higuera playing the best football he has all season. Higuera rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Higuera could be in store for another big game when he takes on Rio Rico on Friday. Higuera rushed for 221 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Hawks duked it out back in October of 2023.
