Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Cleveland Rams walked away with it. They took their matchup at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 56-13 win over New Bern. Cleveland's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Cleveland was led to victory by Tyson Stokes and Jackson Byrd. Stokes gained 189 total yards and three touchdowns, while Byrd threw for 308 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes. Stokes' longest reception was for an incredible 82 yards. Another player making a difference was Cameron Goins, who picked up 133 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Cleveland has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 13-0 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.82 points. As for New Bern, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Cleveland has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Hoggard at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Hoggard is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. New Bern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
