The Lake Brantley Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Spruce Creek Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Brantley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Lake Brantley was handed a eight-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past East Lake 6-5.

Belle Rosales spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Catharine Conway, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Rylie Morris also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Not much got past Aubrey Yeary, who gave up just two hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Astronaut off the board. Yeary has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Spruce Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Minaberry, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Spruce Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Lake Brantley, their record now sits at 13-1.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Lake Brantley hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Spruce Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs.
