Ty Leming put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 11 batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs but no hits. He is becoming a predictor of Northfield's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 3-1 (and 6-12 when he doesn't).

Leming's strong effort led Northfield over North White and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
