Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Horizon Honors Eagles, falling 66-46. Despite the loss, Heritage Academy still got an impressive performance from Danye Sypho, who posted 17 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Horizon Honors to victory, but perhaps none more so than Calvin McCrory, who put up 15 points and five assists. McCrory continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Max Gerelick, who scored 11 points and five assists.
Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Horizon Honors, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-10.
