The Lifegate Christian Falcons had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 61-51 win over Salem Sayers Baptist Academy on Tuesday. The win was just what Lifegate Christian needed coming off of a 64-23 defeat in their prior game.
Joseph Green continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Roby Holdman, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Lifegate Christian now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Salem Sayers Baptist Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lifegate Christian will face off against the Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem Sayers Baptist Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on February 12th.
