 Meanwhile, Linden entered their tilt with Riverbank on Thursday with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bruins 3-0.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Linden took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12,  25-15.
 Linden  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 20  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in six consecutive  games.
 Bret Harte's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Linden, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
