Landon Smith Turns in Season-Best Effort
Archer City was led to victory by Landon Smith, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Smith's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.
If the past is any indication, Smith could be in store for another big game when he takes on Petrolia on Friday. When Smith last faced the Pirates back in October of 2023, he threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 45 yards.

For the year, Anderle has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 42.9 rushing yards per game.

Brock Belcher's Big Game Leads Windthorst over Haskell
Brock Belcher was instrumental in extending Windthorst's winning streak to five on Friday. Belcher was dynamite, rushing for 59 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, while also throwing for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Haskell, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Belcher. When Belcher last faced the Indians back in September of 2023, he threw for 230 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards on only seven carries.
