Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Robinson Knights walked away with it. They blew past the Falcons 82-36 on the road on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Robinson as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Jordan Mickens was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six assists and six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zyon Floyd, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Dunedin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keegan Paolillo. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Molesworth, who scored six points.
Robinson's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Dunedin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-21.
Robinson will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Lakewood on February 8th. Robinson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Lakewood likes a good challenge. Dunedin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
