Wetumpka entered their tilt with Moody on Friday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They blew past the Blue Devils 10-4. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 games by six runs or more this season.

Abigail Adams tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Autymn Hollon was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyla Richardson, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Wetumpka was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in seven consecutive matchups.

Wetumpka's win bumped their record up to 35-4. As for Moody, they moved to 23-8 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Wetumpka wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Lee-Scott Academy on the 12th. As for Moody, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Beauregard on the 11th.
