West Linn is 10-0 against Oregon City since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Linn Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oregon City Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Linn has 19 straight victories, Oregon City has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
West Linn stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 52-10 victory over Lakeridge.
Meanwhile, Oregon City faced Tualatin in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Oregon City received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 46-30 to Tualatin.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ben Schneider, who threw for 287 yards and four touchdowns.
West Linn's victory was their 19th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.74 points. As for Oregon City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Everything came up roses for West Linn against Oregon City in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 55-13 victory. Will West Linn repeat their success, or does Oregon City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
